Bluedrop has partnered with SkyAlyne, the prime contractor, on the Future Aircrew Training (FAcT) Program for the Government of Canada. This is Canada's next generation pilot and aircrew training program for the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF).
The FAcT Program will transform how the RCAF trains its next generation of pilots and rear crew. Combining live flying, advanced simulations, and classroom learning, this long-term program ensures aircrew are fully prepared for future operations.
As part of the SkyAlyne Team, Bluedrop is responsible for the development and implementation of the courseware training, on-going maintenance and support of the courseware, and much more!
Overview:
The Project Coordinator supports the planning, execution, and completion of projects across the organization. This role helps maintain project schedules, helps coordinate team activities, manages documentation, and ensures effective communication among stakeholders. The coordinator keeps projects organized and moving forward, enabling project managers and teams to focus on delivery.
What you'll doResponsibilities
Project Coordination
- Assist in developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, and task assignments
- Track project progress, deadlines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Support project managers with project updates, change requests, and administrative oversight.
Communication & Stakeholder Support
- Serve as a point of contact for internal teams and external partners.
- Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
Ensure stakeholders receive timely updates, documents, and course corrections as needed
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate project documentation, including plans, status reports, risk logs, and issue trackers.
Prepare regular progress reports for leadership and project teams.
Organize and manage file repositories and ensure version control.
Project Controls
- Monitor key project metrics such as budget usage, timelines, and resource availability.
- Flag risks, issues, or schedule concerns and escalate to project managers.
- Assist with procurement tracking, invoicing, vendor coordination, or financial forecasting where applicable.
Operational Support
- Help onboard new project team members by coordinating access, tools, and project information.
- Support process improvements, contribute to lessons learned, and help refine project workflows.
- Perform general administrative tasks to assist in smooth project operations.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of project coordination or administrative support experience.
- Post-secondary education in business, project management, or a related field (an asset).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency with office productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office).
- Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira) is an asset.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
